Title: #024 Granpa's Steps*

Description: Limited edition of 100. I took this photo of the steps in a house that was built over the foundation of the house my great grandfather had built on the Missouri River between Ulm and Cascade. These steps mean many things to me. I am following my great grandfather’s steps around the state of Montana. They also represent going up to heaven. Could represent a recycling of sorts. It keeps being transformed. The house is no longer there as it became too dangerous. I wonder what its next incarnation will be? The foundation is still there.
